“Manager is not the right title for Nick, we called him 'Our Leader' because he was leading us towards the right goals. Byton was Nick's first time leading a team officially and he definitely did it as if he has been doing this for years. A leader, mentor, teacher, guide and a friend, Nick was filling in all these roles at Byton and we couldn't ask for more. The management style was unique because there was no micro-management but he would still get his hands dirty with us because he said, "I want to stand with you guys in the ditch!" Nick would be an amazing asset to any team, he can be a manager and an engineer at the same time. He is one of the best manager's I've have the pleasure to report to at Byton. A person that cares about his team, wants to do the right thing and fight for the truth is what I would say about Nick.”

The signal can be indicative of a state of a cut loop of the electric vehicle. The control unit can be electrically connected to restraint control module and a battery pack associated with the electric vehicle. The controller can be configured to detect an event associated with the vehicle or a change in the signal above a threshold level. The controller can be configured to, responsive to the detection of one of the event or the change in the signal, facilitate electrical disconnection of the restraint control module of the electric vehicle or the battery pack of the electric vehicle.

Pyrotechnic high voltage battery disconnect
Issued US 9,221,343
A system for decoupling a HV source from an electric vehicle's electrical system is provided that includes (i) at least one electrical contactor, where the HV source is electrically connected to the vehicle's electrical system when the electrical contactor is in a closed state and not electrically connected to the vehicle's electrical system when the electrical contactor is in an open state; (ii) a supplemental restraint system (SRS) that monitors collision data from a plurality of impact…
