In our first event, we were able to raise more money than any of the other locations and have kept the event going for 5 consecutive years in Arizona.

    Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer. I was the Greek Week of Service Team Leader and Relay for Life Lead for two years in a row.

    Camp Coast Care is a Christian community of faith that provides welcome and hospitality to any volunteer wishing to serve in the Hurricane Katrina recovery effort. Camp Coast Care operates a
    recovery and reconstruction mission for those in need on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I spent one week in Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina volunteers in countless different areas whenever a need arose. This covered everything from disaster cleanup to new home building.
