    Established the first startup fund at UT Austin to unlock the full potential of Longhorn leaders. Students and alumni work hand-in-hand to invest non-dilutive capital into promising student startups on-campus. We have $1.8M to distribute and built a leadership team of more than 30 talented Longhorns. We have $1.8M to distribute and built a leadership team of more than 30 talented Longhorns. While our fund is college and industry agnostic, Genesis is housed in the Cockrell School of Engineering at UT Austin. Nick leads the marketing group consisting of three distinct teams - deal sourcing, content creation, events & awareness - with the goal of making Genesis synonymous with the 40 Acres.

    As an undergraduate student, Nick successfully ran a campaign in Student Government to create the Longhorn Entrepreneurship Agency (LEA). LEA has since become the largest entrepreneurship student organization at UT. The agency organizes UT Entrepreneurship Week each Spring Semester, runs a program introducing freshmen to entrepreneurship and officially represents the student startup community to university administrators.     Education

    Mentored dozens of student startup teams taught in Longhorn Startup Lab taught by Joshua Baer with support from great entrepreneurs like Bob Metcalfe, Rony Kahan, Mark Cuban and Mike Maples Jr.. Over a dozen entrepreneurs Nick has mentored went on to create full-time roles for themselves at their own companies after graduation.

  • Project Come Together

    -

    Project Come Together (PCT) is the largest philanthropy event to be held on-campus at The University of Texas. We bring 3500 underprivileged, austin-area elementary school students to the heart of UT's campus for a field-day/carnival at no cost to the schools. PCT is made possible from the volunteer help provided by the 30-40 UT student organizations who host game booths for the children.

  • Sugar Free Bowl

    -

    Sugar Free Bowl (SFB) is the largest single day flag football tournament held in the state of Texas. Proceeds are donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). In the past 5 years SFB is proud to have donated over $100,000 to JDRF. The tournament consists of 35-45 teams divided up into 3 different leagues, including co-ed. There is $1000 grand prize and smaller awards for winners of the smaller divisions.
