“I managed Nikki for about 6 months at Airbnb in her first role after graduating college. Nikki was one of the most independent junior engineers I’ve ever worked with, able to easily read code and adopt similar patterns when writing her own. She took on 2 full projects above her experience level: making an entire flow mobile-friendly and adopting a new server-driven UI framework for our product. Nikki cared about other engineers, working to document confusing or ambiguous parts of the latter project. She was thoughtful about what she did, continually asking great questions about the technical decisions we made as a team and about her own career development. I recommend her to any organization that is looking for a talented and high-potential engineer.”
