-As a member of the football team I was a three year defensive starter on the football team. During my final year of football, the 2012 season, the team went 9-2 and obtained nation recognition as a defense finishing as the #3 overall defense in the nation. Also, of note, I was awarded the Eagle Elite award during my time on the football team. Eagle Elite Champions was an award given by the University of Charleston football coaches to players that are student athletes and community role models.
