you can't prevent 100% unless you never raise money. you could minimize how much equity is sold to investors and given to employees. If raising VC money, nearly everything is renegotiable each round based on who has leverage. yes yes, sure, ask fro anti-dilution from the start, but you or someone may toss it out if in the future the decision is between the company dying or taking a new round of funding. given everyone's short attention span, too many tabs open, and multi-tasking, I find it very helpful for each project to have a "Everything Document", which is typically a shared, Google spreadsheet with tabs for schedule, team member contact info, budget, key links, links to status reports, etc. This "everything" document is the "mini-project wiki" and the URL is added to every status calendar invite and team members are strongly encouraged to bookmark it. It is the "starting digital page" for a specific product.

this is an important questions. some keys 1. a clear and written vision or "why" we are doing this project. repeat constantly 2. clear milestones so everyone can judge and celebrate progress success 3. get bad news out FAST when it happens (Murphy always shows up) but deliver the bad news with 2-3 proposed solutions and a recommendation

Generative AI is a group of AI technologies that "generate" or create an "output" based on an "input" Text-to-text is initial ChatGPT, Bing, Bard Text-to-image includes Dall3, MidJourney, others Image-to-text (upload or take a pix) is possible with ChatGPT 4 (Paid), Bing and others There is also text-to-video (i.e. RunwayML), text-to-audio, text-to-code, 2D model to 3D model and more. Note that these outputs are based on statistics and are "probalistic outcomes" and not deterministic (like, say, Excel). As such, the output or "answers" will vary at times (by design). Some call this hallucinations, but this is a misleading term. This new class of GenAI tools unlocks tremendous value, especially for unstructured data (e.g PDF, text)

The hiring matrix of raw talent and drive still works for motivation, as long as drive includes an ability to keep learning, improving and working as a team. It is important to look at organizational needs 2-3 years out and identify and grow talent toward that

1. how much "dry powder" (i.e. additional capital) do they have allocated for this investment 2. how can help with warm intros to potential lighthouse customers 3. how can they help source and close technical hires
