    One year ago, a multi-phase study was presented demonstrating that the users of the smart phone app had a statistically significant improvement in the quality of their bowel preps when compared to non-users.     One year ago, a multi-phase study was presented demonstrating that the users of the smart phone app had a statistically significant improvement in the quality of their bowel preps when compared to non-users. After the initial study, the app was updated and improved including short videos to help summarize the process. One year after its release, this study investigates whether the smart phone app is being utilized and if it continues to improve bowel prep quality and patient satisfaction. Early data shows that overall usage of the smart phone app was decreased since release, but continues to show a statistical improvement in bowel prep when used. App users continue to find the app helpful and report it subjectively improves their ability to complete their bowel prep.
