Mentees work with dedicated mentors to define goals, refine strategies, and gain new perspectives geared toward career growth and self-advocacy. The program includes weekly mentor/mentee meetings, AMAs, expert-lead panels, interactive workshops, networking, and celebrations.

    The ESA scholarship program started in 2007 and has awarded nearly 400 scholarships to women and minority students to further their passion and hone their skills in video game design. Each year, hundreds of undergraduate students apply, looking for academic recognition and financial assistance to pursue their dreams of one day becoming future industry leaders. This year, an esports scholarship has also been added, to encourage diverse athletes at the collegiate level.

Key focus points on what the methods and approach for the transition were, what were considered biggest learnings throughout the transition, and what KPI's were used to measure the progress and success of the transition.
