We are moving from an industrial economy to a digital one that blends both physical and digital solutions. Can mature organizations survive using the same systems that made them successful, or do those very systems put them at risk?

Startups, on the other hand, are not limited by legacy organizational baggage, but need to be smart about how they approach non-technical industries. With access to top talent and little government oversight, disruptors can aggressively apply new solutions to legacy industries that haven’t changed in decades. But if they are not smart about how they approach these industries, they won't be successful in breaking into these segments.

This course uses case studies to explore how the world’s best startups are taking on the world’s biggest companies, and how those large companies are adapting to survive. Ensure that your company isn’t overtaken by an emerging startup by learning how to prepare for this shifting landscape.

During this 5-day Solar Thermal Water Heating training, students will learn about the SWH design and installation processes and work with a hands-on lab to bring the classroom tutorials to life. The training week begins with our Entry Level Program which will introduce the students to solar water heating and go over the basic knowledge for design and installation. Then our instructor will work with the students on our mock roof to demonstrate various SWH installations. This is where students will have the opportunity to work with their hands and use the tools and materials necessary for an installation. Finally, the training week ends with a one-day overview of our Advanced Design Program, where students will briefly see how the basic knowledge can move into more advanced design and installation processes.
