Vetta is a sustainability-oriented clothing website that sells five-item clothing sets known as "capsules." For my UX design class (RUCD 101) at Brandeis University, my group and I have executed all of the basic UX research and design protocols needed to enhance the usability of their website. These tasks included competitive site analyses, interviewing stakeholders, designing personas, journey-maps, and storyboards, developing low-fidelity prototypes, and usability testing.

Often, people have items that are lying around that they don’t use every day (e.g., vacuums,
clothes, cooking ware). However, not everyone has those items since they don’t use them every
day. Most people don’t want to go out and buy an item when they have the option to borrow it
from someone else instead. However, a limitation to this option is who they know, how much
they trust them, and how they can compensate each other if they don’t have a close relationship.

Our mobile application, Rentree, aims to allow people to connect and let them borrow each
other’s items. Furthermore, users can not only borrow but also rent from other users. Rentree
allows users to request a specific item or offer an item to be rented. Rentree gives users various
tools to be able to communicate with each other and negotiate on price and location. Rentree also
implements a reputation system that helps users determine how trustworthy each other is.
