  • Personal Analytics on Movie Characters

    -

Developed a new classification algorithm to detect 9 personal traits of a movie character (positivity, etc.) based on its dialogues. Improved the efficiency by 4-5% from the baseline of Unigram and Bigram using POS tagging, Function words (‘my’, ‘the’, etc.) and punctuations, which we identified as potential trait classifiers.

    Other creators
  • Fake Review Detection

    -

Implemented a system for the detection of fake reviews as a part of the Data Mining course based on the data available from Amazon.com by applying feature, timeline and graph based probabilistic data mining techniques. I was responsible for the implementation of various techniques and database management. The technologies used were Java and MySQL.

    Other creators
  • Memorable but Incommunicable Passwords

    -

Implemented a web based system for using image based passwords against phishing attacks. The motivation for this technique is from "PhorceField" by Rob Johnson et. al. We also surveyed the system over 30 users to test for various parameters over different image datasets. The technologies used were JSP, HTML, CSS and MySQL.

    Other creators
  • Pac Man

    -

Applied various Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts to the classic Pac man game for improving its efficiency. These included implementation of concepts like searching, Bayesian learning, etc. The technologies used were Python and Prolog.
