Storm Water Inlet Capacities
City of Houston Infrastructure Design Manual
I presented the modified and revised the Storm Water Inlet Capacities based on their geometry and allowable depth of flow, utilizing reputed storm water publications to Chapter 9 and 13 revision cycle of City of Houston's Infrastructure Design Manual . The peer reviewed calculations were approved by the committee and the Table has been recommended as part current chapter 9 (Storm Water Guidelines) of City of Houston's Infrastructure Design Manual.

The scope of work included the design and construction of the Storm Water Pump Station and Flood Warning System Improvements at over 13 grade separations. More specifically the work covered by the contract documents includes installation of new advanced safety warning lights, street signs, water level gauges, electrical wiring, traffic control regulation, and pavement rehabilitation as detailed on the Contract Drawings.
The work in general consists of the following:
On-Call…The scope of work included the design and construction of the Storm Water Pump Station and Flood Warning System Improvements at over 13 grade separations. More specifically the work covered by the contract documents includes installation of new advanced safety warning lights, street signs, water level gauges, electrical wiring, traffic control regulation, and pavement rehabilitation as detailed on the Contract Drawings.
The work in general consists of the following:
On-Call contract for the construction of Advance Flood Warning System including signage at intersections which includes High Sierra Model 3480 and HSE Model 3350 Series controller with major components consisting of: Flood Sensor, Master Station, Advance Warning Station, Communications System Solar Power System, load Control, Mounting, Conduit and Cabling; Optional Gauging, and Monitoring and Control and the erection of Advance Warning Signage at intersections.
