Video Search Engine
• Designed a multimedia database search application which lets the user search a video in the database based on the given input query video clip.
• The application extracts video and audio information of the videos in the database and then tries to match the given query video clip with efficient algorithms based on percent matches.

Socket based simulation of a Warehouse-Retail outlet Transport System
- Present
This project was a simulation of the transportation System which includes transportation of Items from the warehouse to 4 retail outlets in a serial order and back to the warehouse. It used UDP and TCP sockets.

Implemented multiple system calls and worked on developing S5 File System for Weenix operating system

For our Operating System assignment, we worked with POSIX threads and implemented system calls to create threads/processes, kill processes, clean up memory, terminate process, perform context switch. For the next assignment, we worked on creating system calls for S5FS (S5 File System) for weenix operating system to enable read, write, open, close, delete and other such file related functions.

Music Discography based Android App

Developed an android app in which users could search for the their favorite album/artist/song by entering key words and the top searches would be displayed for them. If it was a song, it also had an option of playing the song and listening to it.

Spatial Database System
-
Created an end-end System which had a map of USC and supported by a spatial database. Using the UI it was possible to select a region and view all building/Hydrants/Firestations in that area and run various queries for that region. The front end was created using NetBeans.
