I’m a big fan of the several programs that offer very useful GANTT charts my first was Microsoft Project there are better options out there and bring in a construction manager early in your project, bring in a contractor early build a complete team as early as possible to really create all the milestones and durations of tasks very accurately! Including the manufactures of major lead time components so critical in success in making milestones as predicted TIME IS MONEY!

ive been with very small firms were i was literally 1/4 of the entire staff! and very large firms where i was only one of thousands of employees! if you like being busy join a small firm large firms can sound prestigious on your resume but will you be able to grow there? an entry level title with a large firm is not impressive as a leadership level would be. both large and small firms are vulnerable to layoffs in bad economic conditions yet big corporate firms will lay off in seemingly heartless yet methodical methods like: last -in first - out or simply by your salary follow your gut! ask around! ask former and if possible current employees about working culture and everything about your choices AND DON'T BURN YOUR BRIDGES BEHIND YOU!
