This project was designed to enhance Omni-Channel Supply Chain solutions for a large retail chain with an extensive ECOM presence. This project included migrating all existing applications to a centralized solution in the cloud. Due to a niche market the vendor and retailer required significant customization in order to successfully execute the project. The project focus was enabling multiple customer engagement initiatives. The goals defined within the project included strategies to improve fulfillment rates, enhance BOPIS (Buy Online Pickup in Store) initiatives, update curbside pickup capabilities, and ship from store modules). Manhattan’s Active Omni ERP solution was selected to supply the core foundation, while local software architects, and developers helped enable custom interfaces and external applications.

The Digital Store solution leverages comprehensive customer, product and inventory data from Demandware Commerce portal and enables store associates to access valuable information on the sales floor via a tablet (including pictures for out of stock merchandise).
The tablet app allows store associates to quickly access a customer’s profile and purchase history, view product inventory availability and leverage that information to create a more personalized shopping experience for customers.
Associates can also use the app to find additional product styles and sizes, make recommendations based on buyer preferences, perform price matching and overrides.

ECOM platform and API Integration

While working on this assignment I architected several APIs and managed their development. I created timelines, planned and executed integrations. I worked directly with clients using our platform. Key integrations included adding accounting modules for quickbooks and reporting integrations. While managing this project I worked with several PMs and subcontractors to deploy the solutions. Over a dozen ECOM sites were fully onboarded.
