Your non-profit organization needs a project management tool. How can you find the best one?
Let's say that you have defined what you need from the tool, identified the most relevant options, and tested your top 2 or 3 choices, comparing those results between each option. The next critical step is understanding how to implement the tool smoothly to your team. You need to know your teams capability in grasping a new software, capacity to train and learn that doesn't interrupt regular operational flow. A beta tested tool can bring great results to the few that are testing, however, if you roll out a new software to the larger team without a a long and thorough onboarding process with in depth training it could fail and set you back in project timelines, budget, and a loss of manpower.
