“Richard Kraus worked on-site at General Kinematics (GK), through a temporary agency. He reported to me from September 2011 through January 2012. The most significant project he completed was our 2012 budget. GK prepares a consolidated budget for multiple global entities. Rich created all of the line item templates that went out to managers. He then used the completed and returned budgets to upload into our master budget and link them all together into the consolidated budget. There were multiple currencies that made up the transactional and functional budgets. Rich then entered the functional budgets into our ERP system. His Microsoft Excel skills are the best I’ve seen. In preparation for GK’s conversion to a new ERP system, Rich worked on a large data scrubbing project. He worked closely with the IT department as he was correcting customer and vendor data records. Other projects Rich worked on for GK include inventory and costing analysis, creating a wide variety of financial charts and graphs, preparing job cost reports and miscellaneous other small filler tasks to help prepare for year-end close and audit. Rich followed direction well, and had creative ideas about the best way to manage the budget data. He was quick to complete assignments and eager to learn.”
