  • Careers in Science Symposium

    Chaired/oversaw the committee that created the first ever student-run, student-attended symposium at the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences at UCF. The event took place at Flagler College in St. Augustine and brought together former executives from the pharmaceutical industry and public sector, as well as speakers from STEM education and patent law, to discuss the wide array of jobs available to those graduating with advanced science degrees.

    The project coordinated funding from 4 separate sources in order to operate at minimal cost to the students in attendance, all while providing a retreat-like atmosphere in which students could interact with some of the most respected individuals in their field.
