Avon Aquatics Facility
- Present 11 years 8 months
Visionary for the City of Avon to design and construct a world-class aquatics facility. The project began as a six-lane, 25-yard outdoor pool. Ultimately became a 10-lane, 50-meter by 25-meter pool with a spray zone, activity pool, 4-lane 25-yard pool, and two 30 foot slides. This facility is the gem of the city. I also was instrumental in securing the team to publicize and run the facility.

I was the founder and first president of the Avon Eagle Swim Club. The team began with a vision and a dream to build a world class aquatics facility and summer swim team. In just two years the team has grown to close to 200 members! I continue to be a sounding board and strong support of the Avon Eagle Swim Club! Go Eagles!
