“Roland and I started the same day at Quadpay (now Zip) in the very early days of what became a hypergrowth fintech company. I remember thinking to myself in that first week, "wow, this person is really smart." And somehow, I still underestimated how much he knew. Fast forward almost 4 years, I've been lucky enough to work and learn from Roland in all facets of engineering and leadership. He's taught me a lot about how to find and discover the best solutions. But even more importantly, he showed what it meant to be a caring and empathetic leader. He always put people first and went above and beyond to support me as a person before an employee. Anyone that works with or for Roland will be lucky to do so.”
