Wrote a graduate thesis entitled "Identification and Characterization of Mint Lactones: Trace Level Odor-Important Compounds in Peppermint Oil." As part of my research I extracted and analyzed flavor volatiles from peppermint oil using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and GC- olfactometry (GCO).
