“I was the EPC Project Director of Solar Star, the largest PV facility worldwide (747 MWp of PV modules, in California). Sami was the Electrical Project Site Manager and, as such, had the responsibility of managing the electrical site contractors and the construction / commissioning activities of the HV substations, transmission lines, and PV arrays. In this position, Sami has shown some strong safety culture, impressive coordination skills, and utmost valuable ability to work efficiently covering several sub-disciplines (from SCADA, LV to HV). He also demonstrated good negotiation skills by properly managing the various claims we got from our subcontractors. Sami was in front line with the AHJs and demonstrated strong ability to show the robustness of the proposed design to get the project to continually pass inspections. I strongly recommend Sami for project management activities. He did a wonderful job on Solar Star!”
