The best way to chart your path in Cybersecurity is to begin with an inch deep mile wide approach. - Cybersecurity Basics - ISC2 offers a Certified in Cybersecurity certification that is currently free. This will give you a strong overview of the fundamentals and shows initiative in learning. - To be successful in Cybersecurity you need to understand the "cyber" piece of the puzzle. I recommend starting with an entry level Cloud Certification, they're inexpensive and offer a broad view of technology. I started with AWS Solutions Architect Associate. - Get your hands dirty - practice, practice, practice! Learn different operating systems, coding languages, and security tools. There are many free tools such as CodeAcademy to try.
