“To Whom It May Concern: This letter is my personal recommendation for Scott Goldstein. Until recently, I have been Scott's immediate manager for several years. I found him to be consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile. Scott has a generous spirit and is a loyal, positive individual. He's is the "go-to" guy; people continually turn to him for extra help both personally and professionally. I trust him impeccably because frankly, he's never let me down. Scott is a hard-working individual who knows how to get the job done quickly and effectively. Scott is a take-charge person who is able to present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. He has always exhibited superior communication skills and gets along well with his team. He is highly respected by colleagues, customers and management. His strong work ethic has helped him achieve a number of successes in his career. Scott is a sales leader and sales producer. He successfully implemented and developed Aquahydrate’s sales plan for Northwest Region that resulted in increased revenue. Aquahydrate saw an increase of over 200% growth in his sales region (WA, ID, UT, WY, MT, OR, CA (northern)). The new revenue was a direct result of the sales and marketing plans implemented at each regional retailer by Scott. Scott successfully opened large regional accounts including Savemart, Whole Foods, Walgreens plus many more in his region. Scott also added new distributors through his area and negotiated distribution agreements and pricing. His efforts produced outstanding partnerships with our distributors. Scott was also extraordinarily helpful in other areas of the company. Scott assumed a leadership role in sales meetings, inspiring and motivating other employees. Scott hired and manages an active sales team of 5 district sales managers and 3 summer interns. His hands on management style produced exceptional sales results. Scott’s sales leadership role included: • Leading Aquahydrate’s sales strategy, relationships and achieves volume/net sales/contribution margin objectives for the identified regional account(s). • Direct all national/regional chain account activity to include presentations of national and chain level sales programs, new schematics, pricing and business reviews. • Drive improved execution by effectively collaborating with appropriate Sales teams to deliver Aquahydrate business objectives. • Find ways to grow both national/base business and high impact regional opportunities. • Drive quality business communication and ongoing cross-functional interaction with Field Sales, Business/Customer Development, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Marketing. I highly recommend Scott for the position of regional manager or higher to fully utilize his sales management skills.
