PIE3 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed in 2011 to "encourage and promote education in science, technology, education, and math in the Carroll County, Maryland area and to encourage such youth to pursue education and careers in science, technology, education, and, math".

Participation is open to any student in pre-school through high school in the Carroll County area. Teams rely on adult volunteers in the community, partnerships with schools running after-school teams with teacher coaches, and affiliated organizations such as homeschool cooperatives running teams as part of their practice. He is the founder and manager of The Freedom Optimist Shooting Stars program, which provides a safe and supportive community environment for children with physical, intellectual, and/or emotional disabilities to enjoy playing soccer. FOS Soccer is one of the largest rec leagues in the state and is 100% volunteer-run. We have over 1,500 players in the fall and 600 in the spring season.

Team Coach for a FTC Robotics Team (middle/high school). We are currently on year 5 of our core team that has transitioned from FLL to FTC. We focus on exposing the kids to Science and Engineering experiences and concepts and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Coach and assistant coach for multiple soccer teams per year. I am currently coaching high school and middle school teams.
