Disaster and Humanitarian Relief
As president, I lead Yale’s Rotaract Club in its pursuit of a variety of Local to International Projects. Currently, we are fundraising everything from local coat drives to sustainable BioSand Water Filters in rural India. Most notably, our largest international project is aiming to supply substantial medical supply aid to the Kutupalong refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

Education
It was a great and fulfilling experience to utilize my CS skills to benefit an amazing cause. I helped in a lot of IT problems, developing their new website, and other IT tasks. We are working towards helping create a world were every girl and boy has access to education and encouragement from their communities to educate themselves. Visit their website here and join the cause: girlrising.com

qtcodes (PyPI)
Quantum computation is an inherently noisy process. Scalable quantum computers will require fault-tolerance to implement useful computation. There are many proposed approaches to this, but one promising candidate is the family of topological quantum error correcting codes.

There are many proposed approaches to this, but one promising candidate is the family of topological quantum error correcting codes.
Currently, the qiskit.ignis.verification.topological_codes module provides a general framework for QEC and implements one specific example, the repetition code. Qiskit Topological Codes builds out the qtcodes module into a diverse family of QEC encoders and decoders, supporting the repetition code, XXXX/ZZZZ (XXZZ) rotated surface code, and the XZZX rotated surface code.
Inspired by the Qiskit Textbook, we've written a full set of jupyter notebook tutorials to demonstrate the circuit encoders, graph decoders, and benchmarking tools that compose Qiskit Topological Codes. These tutorials both demonstrate the elegance of QEC codes as well as the utility of this package -- please check them out! -
quantumnetworks (PyPI)
-
We present quantumnetworks as a numerical simulation tool with which to explore the time-dynamics of a driven, lossness, and nonlinear multi-mode quantum network using the Heisenberg-Langevin Equations. The applications of this tooling span quantum transduction, bosonic quantum error correction systems, quantum communication, and more.

Through the combined use of microcontrollers, inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors, and flex sensors, we fully processed and mapped arm and hand motion. This technology will be able to provide doctors with a cost-effective, quantitative data analysis tool to aid in the rehabilitation of stroke patients suffering hemiparesis. The development of our graphically engaging, and interactive software was apportioned into three main components: data collection, data transfer, and data analysis and visualization. Data collection encompasses the mechanical development of our hand and arm sensor system. Data transfer is the reading and streaming of data from our various sensors. Our system compares the patient’s healthy and affected arms, in order to provide a comparison that elaborates on the severity and effects of the hemiparesis. Data visualization and analysis includes the software which collects and stores a patient’s motion, and the User Interface that doctors can interact with in order to graphically visualize and analyze the stored motion. We have worked to create an integrated, low-cost, and modular system which will hopefully be beneficial to the rehabilitation of stroke patients with hemiparesis.
