    Activities and Societies: LifeSTEP Mentor (Internship) with the Psychology Department at the University of Arizona - The psychology clinic has established a community service agency that provides undergraduate life skills training (and mentoring) to school-aged youth. The majority of these youth are from underrepresented groups living in poverty in Tucson and are struggling with a variety of psychological concerns (e.g., depression & anxiety).

    Throughout my time in 4-H I was a club president, vice president, recording secretary, state representative, and held multiple other leadership positions in an organization which aimed to teach youth leadership skills, the importance of community service, agricultural awareness, livestock maintenance and responsibility, and so many other valuable tools to youth development. In this organization we took part in the presidential services award which required a minimum of 100 hours of community service. We also created a community service for planting trees in our area for our state representative position.
