Environment
This is a club through San Jose State University. We are engineers who reach out to the local and remote communities and offer our skills to help with mainly environmental issues. As a club we visit the local sites and aid the local community in solving the problem. We volunteer our time outside of school to apply our skills to help the communities around us.

Health
This organization is mainly about Women's Heart Health. I have been a part of a Red Dress Gala Benefit event each year to fundraise for this foundation. We gather auction baskets, and donations from ticket sales, as well as games, candy, and drinks sold for donations. It is such a rewarding experience because I am a woman, and Women's Heart Disease is the number one leading cause of death in women today in the U.S.

Scalable Autonomous Vehicle Project

I worked on the localization of the Scalable Autonomous Vehicle implementing the differential GPS research. To further the project, path planning could be used but was not done in the semester.
Other parts of the project:
• Retrofitted a 10th scale electric car with an Arduino Mega, multiple motor controllers, and a custom wiring harness
• PID controlled linear actuator to minimize overshoot and undershoot in steering
• Motor control with hall-effect sensors and magnets to use as…I worked on the localization of the Scalable Autonomous Vehicle implementing the differential GPS research. To further the project, path planning could be used but was not done in the semester.

Hyperloop Research Project
-
The team put hours of research into the fluid dynamics related to the Hyperloop. Research was done on choked flow, vacuum pressure, and aerodynamic design. Conclusions were made and put together in a presentation later followed by Q&A.

My team put together a 50+ page technical proposal regarding a Public Transportation Solution for the City of San Jose's Department of Transportation. The project aimed to meet San Jose's Green Vision and Vision Zero. The project was for our Engineering Technical Writing course. A 30 minute powerpoint presentation was conducted for the class.

Robot Project

The team was required to learn how to solder, program using CEasy, and design a robot with an arm. Extra time outside of class was required for the completion of the robot. I individually designed and built the structure of the robot with some guidance from the VEX instructional manual to build the chassis. I had freedom to design the arm. My teammates Jenil Thakker and Rohan Patel worked on the programming with aid from Veronica Romo. They used the downloadable go to beacon code given by the…
The team was required to learn how to solder, program using CEasy, and design a robot with an arm. They used the downloadable go to beacon code given by the instructor. Ryan Livingston and Domenic Lestochi completed the electrical part, the IR board, by soldering using resistors, capacitors, transistors, LED lights, sockets for integrated circuits, IR detectors, connectors, and fuses. The goal of the robot was to identify frequencies of two different beacons. The robot needed to turn off one beacon and drag another beacon out of the arena using the arm.

Wind Turbine Project
-
The purpose of this project was to CAD a blade and build a structure to make a wind turbine. The first goal was to have the highest output power using mathematical theories about wind and the blade design. The second goal was to have the stiffest tower structure by using strong/light materials in the best geometric form. Our project did not have the output power desired, but the team discussed and found out what went wrong and how it could be easily fixed.
