“I've had the pleasure of working with Silvia for 2 decades and have watched her develop and mature in her career to a strong people and strategic leader. She has always had a good sense of humor that she uses to help build the team with a focus on getting good results while enjoying the ride. She has taken on multiple challenging, undefined assignments where she used her creative ability to generate results and keep a positive environment when many doubt the project. Her work in Mexico helped start the close cooperation with the US Engineering. The advanced Thermal/Aero project helped define the processes for successful integration of the vehicle front end. She maintained a high degree of technical correctness and kept doing additional work promoting education and Women in Engineering. She is now ready to help develop the next generation of Engineers and is a great asset to the Vehicle Engineering community.”
