“Jerome and I worked together at Convex. As our only PMM guy, he literally did everything. He analyzed the market (built out the best user personas, TAM analyses, and more), managed lead gen, created content for internal enablement and external customers, managed our company website, ran our webinars, and helped all the product managers with positioning & materials for our launches. He was the best thought partner, and is well trusted by both the GTM teams and Eng/Product/Design teams and leadership. Some perks are that he makes incredible presentations & complex data-driven analyses (you can tell he's got the classic MBA training), but has 0 ego and is willing to do all the work hands-on himself (and even help do work that isn’t his). Here's just one of the instances: one time I was struggling late to finish a product analysis/deep dive presentation for leadership the next day. He voluntarily stayed up for almost 3 hours with me to finish the persona & market analyses and tighten everything up on Zoom (I think we worked from like, 9pm-12am). He also hopped on early the next morning again to make sure I had a chance to run through everything one last time. Our CPO said that was one of the best presentations he had ever seen, and it was all thanks to Jerome. He's also saved my butt a few times at a last minute notice while he was out on pat leave, and I couldn't figure something out on Marketo right before our seasonal webinar was set to begin.
