“I was Sofia’s direct supervisor while she was an intern with Stock Rover. Sofia and one other marketing intern worked with our team for two months during the summer of 2015. The marketing team at Stock Rover is very small, just a communications manager and myself. When we hire interns, they have the ability to really make a difference on our team if they work hard. Sofia was what every company dreams of having in an intern. She was extremely independent and figured out what I needed from her with very little direction or coaching. She consistently brought a clear opinion to our group discussions and stood by her thoughts. At the same time, she was flexible and open minded in brainstorming. She not only worked well independently, but also excelled in collaborating with our other intern and team members. We worked on several projects throughout the internship ranging from data analysis, digital advertising, pricing strategy, consumer feedback, competitive analysis, and search engine optimization. She actively looked for feedback and on ways she could improve. She presented with confidence and clarity when we discussed our recommendations with the group. Ultimately, her work helped us shape some core decisions that will be used to guide the future of Stock Rover. I would highly recommend adding Sofia to your team. With a strong work ethic, she was responsible, hard working and a delight to work with. On a personal level, she brought great energy to the office and conducted herself with grace and intelligence. I expect Sofia to succeed at whatever she tries her hand at. ”
