This is a vital cause for me due to the fact that I lost a friend because he was not able to receive a transfusion in time. His memory drives me to do everything I possibly can to ensure that no one else has to face the same detrimental concerns.

    As a student of engineering in the City of Rochester, I work with fellow engineering students in the area to reach out to inner city schools and talk about pursuing a college degree in the STEM field. Most students we talk to are in rehabilitation or transitional classes at their respective high schools. We have been able to successfully encourage over 200 students to pursue a degree in the STEM field.

Since he is a mechanical engineering student and does not have much expertise in software or web development, I was able to assist him.   • The Autonomous Robot Project

    As freshmen, we were required to build an autonomous robot programmed with LabView that would race around a track and avoid obstacles. Once the robot was built, we were required to document all the proceedings as well as compete in an intercollegiate robotics competition where we placed 3rd.

    Right out of high school I pursued an engineering internship with the IT Solutions subsidiary of Thailand's largest logistics firm, JWD Group. In this internship I served various roles from developing Arduino code for a parking entry and exit system to installing and maintaining Linux based servers through to assisting in the development and maintenance of the subsidiary's website.

  • The Rube Goldberg Project

    A Rube Goldberg project designed for an AP Physics B course, our group decided to take this simple class project further and truly develop a masterpiece. In under a week, the team was able to virtually develop and design a concept consisting of 25 various force transfers. Within 3 days after the conceptual design, we implemented and created a rather successful Rube Goldberg project that fetched a 98% assessment when graded for aesthetics, physics concepts applied, execution and presentation.
