What are some challenges that teachers faced in the past that are still relevant today?
In my experience it would be a mistake for educators to ignore the power of information available online. Much of what we are teaching is available online, so flip the classroom. Ask the students to do pre work and then use the classroom time to discuss the topics and provide think about points for their learning in live time. That gives students the opportunity to get their questions answered and test their understanding in the presence of their most valuable learning resource… you, the educator!
