What do you say to clients with unrealistic career goals?
In my experience, they tend to have amazing goals, but sometimes we need to narrow them down to realistic and attainable ones for when they wish to achieve them. Sometimes people need someone who can open their eyes to what seems impossible, but also keep them in tuned with reality.

What do you say to clients with unrealistic career goals?
I always ask my clients what their overall goals are. If they don’t know, I go more in depth into things they like, things they enjoy doing and what motivates them to get up in the morning. From there, we start building trust and finding clues on where to go next.

How do you avoid the sunk cost fallacy and the status quo bias in your decision-making?
Many companies and teams are against change. I like to use the definition of "strategic innovative thinking", which basically focus on finding solutions that challenge the status quo while also evaluate the risks, pros and cons of making a decision. A lot of successful organizations and individuals have walked to the opposite direction of the status quo, and that has played a significant role in their success.
