    Be A T.I.G.E.R.! is a program in which Clemson student athletes reach out to local communities to teach children the TIGER traits: Teamwork, Integrity, Gratitude, Education, and Respect. We do this through book readings, letter correspondence, school visits, and more. The culmination of these efforts at the end of the year is the annual Be A T.I.G.E.R.! Field Day, where the local children and families come to Clemson's campus for a day of physical and mental activities related to the Tiger…

    Be A T.I.G.E.R.! is a program in which Clemson student athletes reach out to local communities to teach children the TIGER traits: Teamwork, Integrity, Gratitude, Education, and Respect. We do this through book readings, letter correspondence, school visits, and more. The culmination of these efforts at the end of the year is the annual Be A T.I.G.E.R.! Field Day, where the local children and families come to Clemson's campus for a day of physical and mental activities related to the Tiger traits. As Vendors Committee Chair, I work to contact local groups, businesses, charities, etc. to bring them to Be A Tiger Field day. I gained valuable event planning skills, communication skills, and volunteer coordination skills through this work. I was the Vendors Committee Chair for 2 years in a row, and for 2 years before that I was a day-of volunteer.

    Central Florida Animal Reserve

    Animal Welfare

    CFAR is a big cat rescue. We have over 40 rescued cats, including tigers, lions, cougars, and more. Volunteer work includes feeding the cats, cleaning their cages, interacting and socializing with the cats, administering medication, and general grounds maintenance.

    Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association presented me and fellow Events Director with the #TransformFPRA award at the Annual Chapter Awards Luncheon in recognition of our efforts the previous year to transform events to virtual (or hybrid!) during COVID-19.
