How can you show your mentor that you value their expertise in Administrative Assistance?
I find that the best ways to show a mentor that you value their expertise in Administrative Assistance is to share your success stories as well as ask for advice for difficult situations. It's also equally important to always acknowledge any accomplishments the mentor has achieved. Nothing comes as close to valuing an Administrative Assistant mentor as implementing advice that you receive from them as well. Lastly, you should always offer your assistance with any potentially difficult or time-consuming tasks the mentor mentions to you.

What are the most effective ways for Administrative Assistants to build their personal brand?
I believe the best way for Administrative Assistants to build their personal brand is to always demonstrate a positive attitude even in the face of their worst adversary. Actions speak louder than words, remembering this can help you to act on a positive impulse. It is in human instinct to have fear of people's opinions. You want to send a message to that one leader you felt inspired you, but you are worried about their reaction? Send the message. As long as it's instilled with positive intention, it will be received as such. Most importantly, whatever your flaws are and whatever yours strengths are, own those. They are what makes up your character and ultimately your brand. Use them to push forward into higher bounds.

How can you address conflicts in a virtual work environment?
With the increasing use of virtual meeting platforms for various aspects of work, it has become imperative to design strategies combating conflicts that can arise in this work environment. One strategy that I believe to result in great success is having very clear communication channels and expectations for any and all virtual exchanges. Ensure to infuse these expectations with company culture to increase moral throughout the organization. Additionally, take advantage of video conferencing whenever possible, especially when discussing sensitive topics or production change requests.
