The club puts on 20+ trail, road, and track running events per year. Coordinated all race planning such as, but not limited to: trail maintenance for course including…Finger Lakes 50s Trail Races are running races with the distances of 25K, 50K, and 50 miles held on the trails of the Finger Lakes National Forest in Hector, NY (near Trumansburg, NY). Coordinated all race planning such as, but not limited to: trail maintenance for course including mowing and trimming; marking the course (16.5 mile loop) prior to the race and cleaning the course after the race; coordinated all registration aspects through an online system; updated website, coordinated all awards for overall, masters (40 and older), and age group for all three races; recruited and coordinated 60 plus volunteers; set-up race-day event such as finish line area, parking, etc.; coordinated all food for after race (BBQ) and 6 aid stations; all registration and packet pick-up aspects; and contacted potential sponsors. -
