What do you do if your brand's customers have concerns that need addressing?
QUICKLY respond with kindness, empathy & an attitude of problem solving to make things right with your customer. Not only will you create "customer delight" (not just "satisfaction"), you'll also create an opportunity for positive feedback. Customers who complain yet have their issue resolved are 3 times more likely to share their positive experience with others than customers who have no issues. You can't buy good press like this! You will also want to create a customer delight-type culture and empower your teams to be creative problem solvers. Work toward a spirit of continuous improvement by listening to customers. Always strive to make your company stand above the competition by looking for ways to improve and impress your customers.

What are the best ways to improve your team's competitive knowledge?
Competitive knowledge is easy to come by if you know where to look and who to ask. So encourage your team to think outside the box, or in the wise words of the late, great Steve Jobs, "Think Different." Encourage your team to connect, listen, ask. CONNECT through networking in your market. LISTEN via social channels, articles, in person where your competitors sell and operate. ASK your market via partners, customers, clients, consultants, and don't forget, your competition. These entities ALL have different perspectives and ALL want to be asked/positioned as experts. YES! even your competition.
