But if you’re curious, you’ll test the new thing, you’ll test the new way, the new idea and keep innovating so you don’t run into the challenges everyone faces bc doing what we’ve always done is always going to bite you in the ace Also, surround yourself with curious people, they’ll help you innovate DO IT!!

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a more AI question but here’s how: Messaging, positioning and being unique. Digital marketing whether it’s advertising or emails or anything digital, if you want to increase ROI, you need to figure out your messaging positioning and unique value props. Assuming you have that all in place then it comes down to budget allocation, creative and content. Spend more than the things that are working or not. Test creative and messaging across your digital marketing campaigns to find what resonates with your audience Content more content that your audience actually cares about, learns from, gets value from, distributed via digital marketing campaigns

1. Understand this: it’s all failure. All of it. You only hear about the 1 out of 100 things that worked. There is the tried and true, of course but even those are different company to company. 2. Pick a boss/leader that understands failure and allows you to fail and try again. If you’re curious, you’ll get better. If your boss or leader gets mad at failure, micro manages you, doesn’t allow you to be creative, LEAVE. If you’re a manager that excepts no failure, reprehends people for making mistakes, grow the fudge up. Thats how people get better

Let’s take this time to talk about GA4 (Google analytics 4). WTF happened there?! Google analytics was great for most marketers (and non-marketers) needs. Free, simple to use and useful. GA4 has and continues to piss m every single marketer off , it’s hard to navigate and forcing people away. Great job fudging job Google. To be fair, it’s free and we all thank you for that but for fudge sakes, if it’s free and works great, don’t spend more time and resources updating what works, why’d ya mess with it??

MySpace advertising is making a comeback, don’t sleep on it! No no no, I mean vine, vine ads are getting big again Jk jk seriously though, influencer marketing is all the rage (rightly so) and a lot of underprice attention right now

The answer is going to be wildly different person to person but the biggest hack is this: Live on the east coast and work from home for a company primarily based on the west coast. You’ll get more done in the 3 hours than everyone else and most people are okay with not having meetings past 5pm est for you. So you get a productive morning and no late meetings. That said, that’s if you are a stickler for not having late meetings bc if you allow them, people will just book them over and over and over again. Block it off!
