The American Brain Coalition is a non-profit organization comprised of some of the United States’ leading professional neurological, psychological, and psychiatric associations and patient organizations. Together, we seek to advance the understanding of the functions of the brain, and to reduce the burden of brain disorders through public advocacy.

CAMR is focused on ensuring that all promising medical research is allowed to continue, including stem cell research of all kinds. After 12 years CAMR dissolved and transferred its mission and assets to the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) - www.alliancerm.org

Member of the Board of Advisors. Growth & Justice is a progressive think tank committed to making Minnesota’s economy simultaneously more prosperous and fair.

Member of the Board of Directors; Chair 2007-2009. Led effort to re-engage the board, recruit new board members, and evolve the organizational focus. Organization services and budget have more than doubled during tenure as chair. RCC employs 100 people and has a $12 million budget.

Commissioner on the HRA board; served as Vice Chair and Chair. Worked with fellow commissioners and staff to maintain and increase affordable housing options in Washington County; oversaw and approved budget and activities of the authority; and participated in the redevelopment of the Whispering Oaks trailer park.
