The UNSW Business Society is the largest student society on campus, providing personal and professional development for over 8500 students.

Being in the executive management, I was involved in key high level decision-making for the organisation and was directly overseeing the portfolios of marketing, publications, human resources and information technology.

As the Marketing Director, I managed a team of 8, who designed and implemented marketing strategies and brand management to link events of the society and corporate sponsors to the business student community, delivering 50+ campaigns in my 12 month term.

▪ Lead and managed a team of volunteers in the preparation and execution of Orientation Week.
▪ Underwent extensive leadership, equity and diversity and WHS training.
▪ Planned and organised Orientation Week events which involved consideration of engagement, safety, logistics and budget.

▪ Planned and ran events in small teams for the largest Orientation Week in the southern hemisphere.

Provided weekly tutoring sessions for disadvantaged high school students.

▪ Provided a general information help point for students and visitors on campus.
▪ Managed the marketing and design portfolio of the volunteer program.

Facilitated the social orientation of a group of first-year business students in a fun and safe environment in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Performed lion dance at community events to promote the Chinese culture. Events include both private and government including Chinese New Year festivities, moon festival and lighting the Olympic torch in Canberra.
