The organization engages in activities to promote and improve awareness among US and international corporate executives and site-selection consultants of Virginia’s attractiveness for business investment. The intent of these activities is to attract more traded-sector, business investment projects across Virginia, resulting in increased economic opportunity, improved employment, and more state and local tax revenues, and to bring value to the communities of the Commonwealth, either through the increase of their commerce, or through the promotion of their safety, health, welfare, convenience, or prosperity.
