“Tim is a sharp team member and team leader who quickly understands complex problems and proposes relevant and testable and working solutions. We worked together smoothly on Cu Fab qualification in Flash Memory Line and successfully setup processes on tools before they were fully qualified and had automated material handling systems enabled. Tim's technical understanding of BEOL processes and how they can affect layer to layer interfield and intrafield overlay variation has helped him come up with creative solutions to compute models for feedback corrections. He empowers, leads, and guides junior engineers and technicians to propose technical solutions based on comprehensive data to back themselves up. Tim also directly applies his MBA experience into the workplace by activly proposing long term employee term retention compensation plans, setting up structured team work activities, and assigning the appropriate skilled folks to the appropriate task based on their individual personalities, preferences, and motivations.”

Semiconductors: Leading in the New
Accenture
Over the last 20 years, the semiconductor industry has been at the center of rapid technology advances—from the PC boom to smartphones and now the IoT and driverless cars. But, have industry players themselves been successful in leading in the new?
Our analysis suggests that many semiconductor businesses need to forge new strategies to develop their core business, while innovating for their future. -
Moore... or Less?
Accenture Strategy
Semiconductor companies have achieved profitable growth following Moore’s Law, doubling the number of transistors in an integrated circuit every two years. Today, costs associated with creating ultra-dense transistors are rising exponentially. At the same time, sales prices are flat—or declining. It’s harder for semiconductor companies to justify using Moore’s Law as a tool for sustained competitiveness.
