  • MASCOT CHANGE - Removing Confederate-Like Image

    Being an equity-driven educational leader, it was imperative to create a more inclusive culture and climate. Undergoing months of extensive stakeholder engagement and facilitating equity conversations, the Board of Education voted unanimously to remove the confederate-like image. This work/project was also highlighted in ACSA's EdCAL (a statewide publication for educational leaders) May 23, 2016.
