• Cross-functional Partnership – Extensive experience collaborating with teams such as HR, IT, Legal, Commercial/Procurement, Corporate Affairs, and Hospital Operations Leadership. Examples include acquisitions, international expansion, employee benefits programs, corporate headquarter relocation, hospital equipment rollouts, and more.
• Accounting & Management Reporting – Worked with acquired companies to condense their financial period close and management reporting process from over three…• Cross-functional Partnership – Extensive experience collaborating with teams such as HR, IT, Legal, Commercial/Procurement, Corporate Affairs, and Hospital Operations Leadership. Examples include acquisitions, international expansion, employee benefits programs, corporate headquarter relocation, hospital equipment rollouts, and more.
• Accounting & Management Reporting – Worked with acquired companies to condense their financial period close and management reporting process from over three weeks to just three days. Partnered with business leaders to establish accounting policies and internal controls, managed the yearend financial statement audit, presented financial results to senior leadership, facilitated internal audits, and negotiated with vendors.
• Tax – Ensured the accuracy and timeliness of income tax and indirect tax filings each year. Led efforts that generated tremendous cash savings through effective tax planning and tax controversy management.
• Treasury – Financial oversight for collecting high volumes of recurring billings and consumer financing receivables as well as hospital payment systems.
• Systems Implementations – Experience with systems implementations include Oracle, Vertex, and Ceridian Dayforce.
