    Our responsibilities included using a social media platform to promote and network for the informational seminar that talked about getting your MBA from Bloomsburg University. Each group from our class had to pick one social media platform to use. Our group chose to use Twitter due to its growing popularity, the ability to create trending hashtags, along with retweeting and favoriting from our personal accounts.     Our responsibilities included using a social media platform to promote and network for the informational seminar that talked about getting your MBA from Bloomsburg University. Each group from our class had to pick one social media platform to use. Our group chose to use Twitter due to its growing popularity, the ability to create trending hashtags, along with retweeting and favoriting from our personal accounts. Since our target market was business students attending Bloomsburg, utilizing our personal accounts was one of the best strategies to get initial recognition of the Twitter account. We had from October 5th until the 22nd to create a following for this. We grew the account to over 300 followers throughout this period using various techniques. The goal we set at the beginning of the project was to cause 50 people to attend that would not have found out about the seminar otherwise. This was measured by handing out a form to each of the students/faculty that attended and asking them how they found out about the seminar. Our group placed first with 28 even though we did not reach our goal of 50. This was a good experience and made me realize some of the difficulties that come with social media marketing along with creating consumer involvement. Unfortunately one of my teammates was the one who initially created the page and deleted it after the competition was over.

    Competed with my team Talia Shemesh, Kristen Meckes, and Michael Valenzano in Bloomsburg University’s College of Business, Zeigler Case Competition, where students presented case studies for a selected panel of judges. The case study analysis we presented was focused on, whether Under Armour's strategy in 2014 was potent enough to win market share from Nike and Adidas.
