The Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony provides opportunities to enrich, educate and serve our communities through classical music and inspire the next generation of musicians and patrons of the arts.

Tapped into donor base and collaborated across all levels of the organization to deliver highest fundraising levels in organization’s 30-year history. Led signature Gala and high-profile golf tournaments; facilitated strategic planning session at the 2017 Board Retreat, earning praise and selection to the Board of Directors.

Elected to Board of Directors after spearheading successful donor campaigns and architecting the 2015 strategic plan.

Supported Raise the Flag campaigns, facilitating fundraising, and helped orchestrate public events championing the cause. Partnership with MWSF contributed to the awarding of mortgage-free homes to combat-wounded heroes. Also served as an executive sounding board for MWSF Executive Director as organization navigated opportunities and challenges associated with rapid growth.

• The 2019 campaign raised $369,000; this grassroots fundraiser has blossomed since it’s 2003 inception into a national fundraising campaign that has helped raise more than $5,000,000 for the Alzheimer's Association through Forget Me Not Days collections and corporate donations.
• In 2017 and 2018 I received an Alois Society Member recognition for "Extraordinary leadership in support of the Alzheimer's Association to prevent and cure Alzheimer's disease while improving the quality of life for all those affected."

As a member of the UTSA Leadership Program I was assigned to the Fund Distribution process for the United Way of South Texas partner agencies. We conducted financial reviews, on-site agency visits and outcome program reviews. Our role was to review the agencies and make recommendations to the full UWST Board, which makes the final decision on fund distribution.
