    • The 2019 campaign raised $369,000; this grassroots fundraiser has blossomed since it’s 2003 inception into a national fundraising campaign that has helped raise more than $5,000,000 for the Alzheimer's Association through Forget Me Not Days collections and corporate donations.
    • In 2017 and 2018 I received an Alois Society Member recognition for "Extraordinary leadership in support of the Alzheimer's Association to prevent and cure Alzheimer's disease while improving the quality of life for all those affected."

    As a member of the UTSA Leadership Program I was assigned to the Fund Distribution process for the United Way of South Texas partner agencies. We conducted financial reviews, on-site agency visits and outcome program reviews. Our role was to review the agencies and make recommendations to the full UWST Board, which makes the final decision on fund distribution.
