Quantitative chemometric phenotyping of three-dimensional liver organoids by Raman spectral imaging

qRamanomics allows calibrated, quantitative chemometric analysis of 3D biospecimen. It enables multi-spectral benchmarking of liver organoids, revealing changes in drug-treated liver organoids. Herein it was used to monitor small molecule drug metabolism and bioaccumulation phenomena in 3D liver spheroids and induced pluripotentcy stem cell-derived liver organoid models. An ultraquantitative 3D biomolecular tissue phantom calibration technology was developed and verified, quantitatively characterizing and reporting on the uncertainty (and confidence) of statisitical models for deconvolution of biological systems spectral signatures.
