“I reported to Victoria Moisa when I worked at Johnson Controls (JCI). She was Talent Acquisition Manager there. Most TA Managers are extremely successful having one or two of the traits that Victoria possesses but she has a multitude of traits that made her a truly outstanding manager. Victoria has first-hand experience running a full desk of full life cycle recruiting. This gives her insights regarding complexities, assigning appropriate expectations, and manpower planning. Victoria has a comprehensive understanding of business. She understood the businesses at JCI that we supported and had strong, mutually respectful relationships with business leaders. She was able to share these insights with her team, and we were the better for it. When it was announced that Johnson Controls would merge with Tyco, Victoria quickly researched Tyco and reached out to her counterpart there. It gave us insights into their recruiting process. Victoria works very hard. Besides putting in full days at the office, it was not unusual to get emails from Victoria at 11:00 PM at night. Her commitment to her career and team was undeniable. Victoria has strong team building skills. Her team at Johnson Controls handled the highest volume of requisitions of all the TA teams at JCI for a fast-paced building operations business at JCI. Out of necessity, our hiring managers were very demanding. It was not unusual to get requests for offers after 4:00 PM on Fridays, to be on the phone and have hiring managers reaching out to recruiters via an instant messaging system simultaneously. Victoria built a strong, committed team of high achievers. I attribute much of our success to Victoria’s strong leadership. In addition, she also managed the relationship with an RPO team who took care of the non-exempt recruiting. Victoria has an amazing capacity for work, is an exceptional business woman, and an unparalleled manager. ”
