How can you build resilience when working with a difficult sales team?
Building resilience starts by focusing your team members on the inputs that drive results and minimizing distractions. This can be accomplished by meticulously reviewing, sharing, and understanding KPIs so you can identify gaps and opportunities, and provide training, support, and education to keep team members focused on success. Success in itself does quite a bit to build respect and resilience.

What are the top performance indicators for a successful Business Development professional?
Performance measures related to lead generation must be determined by understanding the return, or output, from each activity, or input and focusing KPIs on top producing activities. Returns can be measured by many metrics that identify how many new prospects each activity generates all the way through the sales funnel, close rates, annual recurring revenue, and total lifetime revenue. In most businesses the value of inputs changes over time along with competition and market dynamics.
